Thai’s and Malaysian Food : Which one do you like?

Tiga hal yang gw nikmati selama perjalanan : 1. View 2. Culinair 3. Culture

Selama seminggu di Malaysia dan Thailand, gw menemukan banyak makanan baru yang tasty, unique, yang jelas rasanya quite different from Indonesian food…just wanna share it anyway…😀

Thai’s food.

Khao Niao (Sticky rice/ketan manis dengan semacam topping dari gula aren). Deliciously sweet!

Banana Chocolate Pancake. Bisa ditemui di sepanjang tepi jalan Patong.

Mango Sticky Rice. Cemilan khas Thailand.

Tom Yum Goong Nam Khon (Creamy Tom Yum Kung).

This one is creamy, sour and spicy. The best!

Pineapple Fried Rice. Beware : kulitnya nggak bisa dimakan😄

Pad Thai. Mirip kwetiaw di Indo. Spicy.

Buggar. I forget the name of it. Mirip lodeh.

Mix Seafood Pad Thai. Masakan Thailand sering menggunakan bubuk kacang.

Telur Pitan. Thousand years Egg. My favourite egg.

Pork Noodle. The best pork noodle ever.

Prawn Fried Rice. Spicy. Large portion. Halal.

Street food. Fried Dumplings. Cheap and yummy. Nagih!

Bakpia raksasa isi kacang ijo+potongan kecil timun. Unique. Krenyes-krenyes.

Kungfu Chef in action. Sreng osreng osreng!!

Aneka gerobak Street Food

Malaysian’s food.

Ordinary Kopitiam, similar with Indonesian.

 Penang Kwetiau. Nothing special.

Pork. Small portion😦

Sesame Pork. Nah ini uenak banget….😀

Roti Cane Asin. Pake celupan kuah kari. Karinya strong banget. Kaya kuah rendang.

Roti Cane Manis. Pake susu. Manisnya pas…makannya disobek-sobek pake tangan. Enyaaakkk!

Kesimpulannya, lidah gw sih lebih cocok ke masakan Thailand. Spicy, tasty, soury. Masakan Malaysia rata-rata hampir mirip masakan Indonesia, hanya saja lebih berbumbu kari. No surprise…Hehe…well, semoga saja gw bisa berkeliling icip-icip lagi next time. My taste bud always craving for more and more unique food!😀
